We are seeking festival volunteers for the Art in Odd Places BODY 2018 Public Art Festival October 11-14th 2018 along 14th st NYC
Festival Dates & Times:
October 11th 12-8 p.m.
October 12th 12-9 p.m.
October 13th 12-9 p.m.
October 14th 12-9pm
Location: 14th street Manhattan
VOLUNTEER ROLES
Festival Setup Assistant:
Volunteers are assigned to a specific area to assist artists with project setup.
Duties vary per art project (Ex. installing artwork, moving tables & chairs, etc.)
Artist Assistant:
Work alongside the artists as they present their work and provide assistance where needed.
-Provide visitors with information about the festival and specific artist.
-Answer questions about the project, so that artist may continue to work.
-Watch assigned art project while artist takes break.
Festival Breakdown Assistant:
Volunteers are assigned to a specific area to assist with project breakdown. Duties vary per art project.
(Ex. De-installing artwork, moving tables & chairs, etc.)
Festival Floater:
Walk the festival route.
-Hand out event programs.
-Hand out bottles of water to artists, as needed.
-Encourage festival attendees to post about AiOP on social media.
-Answer questions about the festival.
-Watch assigned art project while artist takes break.
